Graphic mentioning AESSEAL Sustainability

Construction of a new tree walk is under way at AESSEAL Inc’s U.S. base.

Following the opening of the 1km walk at the company’s Rotherham headquarters in South Yorkshire, England, around $245,000 is being invested at the 50,000 sq. ft. site in Rockford, Tennessee.

Most of the money - as was the case in Rotherham - will be spent on landscaping as part of the company’s pledge to commit £29 million to environmental initiatives by 2029. Rather than cutting through the trees, the new path will run along the treeline on the west side of the site, connecting to the existing walk and gazebo.

This approach minimises tree cutting, offers a more accessible route, and allows the company to offer a longer, more appealing walk for employees, visitors and customers. Additional trees will be planted opposite the current treeline, and seating and picnic tables may be added along the trail.

AESSEAL Inc’s North American headquarters was renovated to match the standards at the group’s ten-acre Factory for the Future site in Rotherham, where the tree walk surrounds 175,000 sq. ft. of buildings.

The opening of the Rotherham walk was attended by children from a local primary school and other educational establishments have since visited.
